MEP Electrical Engineer - Rail Sector Lead

In your role in the Group, you will be working alongside colleagues from all over Arup providing the full range of multi-disciplinary services required to deliver major projects. With experience in MEP design you will have the self-assurance to lead your discipline as well as the ability to take on lead roles on projects, including sub-consultants.

We are seeking candidates who:

· Are a Chartered Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with a strong MEP multidisciplinary engineering design knowledge. Electrical engineering background will be a preference.

· Proven experience in managing and delivering multi-disciplinary transports (rail) design projects within a consultancy environment; values quality and enjoys delivering.

· Proven experience in leading and delivering MEP design using major rail standards, which includes HS2, Transport for London, Network Rail, CrossRail and other rail standards

· Have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.

· You should have strong client facing skills and be able to represent Arup externally. You will be able to direct and deliver bids to secure new work.

· Experience in directing teams of engineers throughout all stages of design and construction

· Represented the design and/or discipline team in discussions with the client and contractor
