Job Responsibilities
- Prepare MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare detailed drawings for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire-fighting systems.
- Review and coordinate MEP drawings with architectural and structural drawings.
- Modify drawings based on consultant, client, and site team comments.
- Prepare drawings according to project specifications and site requirements.
- Coordinate with MEP Engineers, Project Engineers, and Site Supervisors.
- Conduct site measurements and update drawings based on actual site conditions.
- Prepare layouts, sections, details, schematics, and installation drawings.
- Maintain drawing revisions and document control.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, clear, and suitable for site execution.
- Assist the engineering team with technical drawings and project documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Experience preparing MEP shop drawings and coordination drawings.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of MEP construction and installation practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- AutoCAD.
- MEP shop drawings and MEP coordination.
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
- As-built drawings.
- Revit MEP.
