- Prepare detailed CAD drawings and layouts for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards
- Review design inputs and coordinate with engineers and project managers
- Update drawings based on site conditions and design changes
- Ensure accurate documentation of revisions
- Collaborate with construction and site teams to resolve technical drawing issues
- Support preparation of shop drawings and as built drawings
- Maintain organized drawing records
- Contribute to quality control by checking drawings for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Strong MEP drafting and design skills, including experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing layouts
- Proficiency in CAD software and related drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar)
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations applicable to MEP works in the UAE
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with engineers, site teams, and project managers
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple drawing updates and deadlines
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience as an MEP Draftsperson in construction projects
- Experience in UAE construction industry, particularly in MEP subcontracting or fit out works
- Ability to work on site in Abu Dhabi and adhere to safety standards

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site role for an MEP Draftsperson based in Abu Dhabi.
- The MEP Draftsperson will prepare detailed CAD drawings and layouts for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
