MEP Design Engineer

Job Summary

Employment and Experience

• The position is full-time.
• The stated experience range is 3–10 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Design mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems based on project requirements.
• Prepare design calculations, layouts, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Develop HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection designs.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and BIM teams.
• Review documents for compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Participate in design reviews and resolve technical or design-related issues.
• Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and design documentation.
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–10 years of relevant MEP design experience.
• Experience with commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of international standards including ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, IEC, NEC, and IPC is preferred.

Required Skills and Software

• Required skills include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design.
• Required skills include design calculations, MEP coordination, BOQ preparation, and technical documentation.
• Software skills include AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, Dialux Evo, and MS Office.
• HAP and ETAP are preferred software skills.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly pay is ₹30,000–₹100,000.
• Benefits include internet reimbursement and a Provident Fund.
