Responsibilities
- Coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing activities across assigned construction projects
- Review MEP drawings and specifications, ensuring alignment between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues
- Monitor installation progress, conduct site inspections, verify that work meets design intent, quality standards, and local regulations
- Prepare coordination reports, attend coordination meetings, manage clash detection (often using BIM tools)
- Support timely delivery of MEP works in line with project schedules and safety requirements
Requirements
- Strong skills in MEP Coordination and Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems
- Skills in Plumbing and Building Services with understanding of installation methods and standards
- Skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) for coordination, clash detection, and documentation
- Relevant technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (diploma or degree) preferred
- Experience in coordinating MEP works on building construction projects in the UAE or GCC region highly beneficial
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards related to MEP works
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams, and manage time effectively

Role Description
- The MEP Coordinator is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, responsible for coordinating all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing activities across assigned construction projects.
