Part-time 28-hour position as Mental Health Assistant for adults with serious mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.
Under the guidance of a lead clinician, Mental Health Assistant provides support and help to access community resources for people with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.
Mental Health Assistant provides supportive community services such as assisting and teaching a consumer to obtain housing, employment, medical care, transportation, recreation, financial benefits, and other available entitlements.
Mental health worker must function well as part of a team and have good knowledge of community resources.
Services are provided in home, community, and office settings under the supervision of Program Director and Program Coordinator and the guidance of the lead clinician.

Ability to enter data efficiently and accurately into an electronic medical record.
