• Shift: 1st & 2nd available
• Schedule: 1st - 7a - 3:30p 2nd - 3p - 11:30p

T he Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) performs a variety of complex laboratory tests and analyses that assist physicians and healthcare providers in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

This position plays a critical role in delivering accurate and timely laboratory results while maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient safety.

• Perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory testing in areas including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood bank.
• Collect, process, analyze, and evaluate biological specimens according to established procedures.
• Review and verify test results for accuracy and completeness prior to reporting.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Perform and document quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing activities.
• Identify and resolve testing discrepancies and consult with laboratory leadership as needed.
• Adhere to all laboratory safety, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements, including CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and hospital policies.
• Communicate critical test results promptly to physicians and nursing staff.
