Position Overview
The position is Medical Representative (MR) - Surgical, requiring 2–5 years of experience.
The role covers Mumbai and Delhi NCR.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit hospitals, nursing homes, and surgical centres regularly within the assigned territory.
- Follow up with surgeons and hospital stakeholders through the sales process.
- Develop relationships with surgical specialists and hospital stakeholders.
- Support product demonstrations, workshops, CMEs, and surgeon engagement activities.
- Identify new surgeons, hospitals, dormant accounts, equipment needs, replacements, upgrades, and projects.
- Map hospitals, surgeons, procedure volumes, installed equipment, competitors, and opportunities.
- Capture interactions, leads, and opportunities in CRM or SFDC.
- Coordinate with Territory Managers, channel partners, sales, and clinical application teams.
- Generate qualified leads and gather competitive intelligence on products, pricing, and market activity.
Required Skills and Experience
- 2–5 years of field experience in pharma, surgical disposables, surgical consumables, medical devices, or allied healthcare products.
- Existing relationships with General Surgeons, Gynaecologists, and/or Urologists are required.
- Regular access to hospital operating theatres is mandatory.
