Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy
- Register patients and maintain accurate medical and insurance records
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using the Hospital Information System (HIS)
- Answer phone calls, emails, and patient enquiries
- Verify insurance eligibility and assist with billing enquiries
- Coordinate with physicians and clinical departments to support patient care
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies
- Keep the reception area organized and welcoming
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Medical Office Administration, or related field
- 1+ year of experience in medical reception, hospital, or healthcare administrative role
- Experience with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and English
