Responsibilities
- Book appointments in the schedule for physicians and Allied Health professionals
- Receive and process payments from patients for services and products
- Maintain accurate patient records and verify demographics are up to date
- Complete data entry in a timely and accurate manner
- Schedule consultations according to the clinic schedule
- Prepare and enter patient registration forms for new patients
- Confirm information of patients
- Inform manager when office supplies are needed
- Follow up on outstanding payments
- Complete daily cash and POS balances/reconciliation
- Greet patients in a timely and welcoming manner
- Check patients in as they arrive into the EMR
Requirements
- Medical Office Administration education or equivalent work related experience with minimum 1 year of experience
- Previous medical office experience required
- Ability to speak Ukrainian and/or Russian is an asset
- Certification for reprocessing medical equipment
- Understanding of ethics of confidentiality
- Strong computer skills, typing, and experience with electronic medical records
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Purpose of Job
- Imagine Health Centres is looking for an experienced Medical Office Assistant with 4+ years of experience. Speaking Ukrainian and/or Russian is an asset.
Major Activities
- Book appointments in the schedule for physicians and Allied Health professionals.
- Receive and process payments from patients for services and products.
- Maintain accurate patient records, verify demographics are up to date.
- Complete data entry in a timely and accurate manner.
- Schedule consultations according to the clinic schedule.
- Prepare and enter patient registration forms for new patients.
- Confirm information of patients.

Qualifications & Expertise
- Medical Office Administration education or equivalent work related experience preferably with a minimum 1 year of experience.

- Collaborate as an active participant with others in assisting with the delivery of care to patients.
- Previous experience working with EMR system a definite asset.
