Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests (hematology, microbiology, biochemistry, etc.)
- Collect, label, and process patient samples accurately
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Analyze test results and ensure accuracy and reliability
- Follow quality control and assurance procedures
- Maintain detailed laboratory records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals for timely reporting
Skills
- Laboratory testing & diagnostic procedures
- Sample collection & specimen handling
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and analyzers
- Quality control & quality assurance (QA/QC)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Data recording and report preparation
- Infection control & safety protocols
- Time management and multitasking
- Basic computer skills (LIS systems preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- Valid professional license (preferred or eligible for licensing in Saudi Arabia)
- 1–3 years of relevant laboratory experience (fresh graduates may apply if highly motivated)
- Knowledge of standard lab procedures and safety guidelines
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends if needed
