- Support the delivery of medical physics services to ensure the safe and effective use of radiation in diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy.
- Assist with quality assurance testing, equipment performance evaluations, and acceptance testing of medical imaging and treatment systems.
- Participate in radiation safety programs, including monitoring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Collect, analyze, and document technical data to support clinical operations, equipment optimization, and patient safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, technologists, and healthcare staff to troubleshoot equipment and improve clinical processes.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and technical documentation while supporting audits, inspections, and accreditation activities.
- Contribute to special projects, research activities, and the implementation of new technologies and clinical procedures.
- Continue professional development through training, certification preparation, and ongoing education in medical physics and radiation protection.
