Job Summary

Location and Hiring Scope

• The position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• This is a local hiring opportunity for candidates currently residing in Abu Dhabi.
• Work location is in person.

Eligibility Criteria

• At least one year of hands-on experience in core medical coding.
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient coding is mandatory.
• A valid Emirates ID is required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems is required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation review skills are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and other applicable codes.
• Code outpatient and inpatient cases accurately.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and payer guidelines.
• Verify documentation and coordinate with physicians or clinical teams on clarifications.
• Maintain coding quality, accuracy, and productivity targets.
• Stay current with coding guidelines, regulatory changes, and industry practices.
• Assist with coding audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• AAPC, AHIMA, or equivalent coding certification is an added advantage.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
• The candidate should be able to work independently while maintaining high coding accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality are preferred.
