Job Description
B·U·T Dubai is hiring a Mechatronics Engineer to work with an experienced team on projects for Fortune 500 companies.
The role develops and integrates custom hardware solutions tailored to project needs.
The engineer collaborates with developers and project managers to support hardware-software integration.
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with microcontrollers such as Arduino or Teensy.
- Solid understanding of hardware interfaces, connectors, circuits, and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with UDP, DMX, and OSC communication protocols used in audiovisual and lighting systems.
- Good understanding of LED screens, including resolution formats and pixel pitch.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling with Autodesk Inventor or equivalent CAD software.
- Experience with 3D printing and prototyping processes.
- Working knowledge of automation systems, motors, and actuators.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for embedded or hardware-interfacing tasks.
Your Job
- Develop custom hardware solutions based on specific project requirements.
- Work with and modify existing hardware interfaces.
- Integrate sensors and actuators into developer applications.
- Design and build custom circuits.
- Create 3D components for printing or manufacturing.
- Collaborate closely with developers and the project manager to ensure seamless integration and execution.
Education and Background Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum two years of experience in the events or exhibitions industry.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Based in the UAE.
- Available to join immediately.
