Key skills for this role
The Guided Weapons Production Capability (GWPC) Project is establishing a sovereign Australian capability to assemble and test the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS), certified by Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMC) and the US Government.
As the capability continues to grow, the program will expand into the manufacture of additional weapon systems and support the development of Australia’s domestic guided weapons production capability.
We have an opportunity for an experienced Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in the evaluation, certification and technical governance of products and suppliers supporting the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) program.
Working with Australian and US Defence stakeholders, LMC and industry partners, you will provide technical leadership across engineering, certification and production activities while helping position Australian suppliers to participate in the broader US supply chain.
