Role Overview
Mechanical Works Manager needed for a large-scale international construction project.
The role manages mechanical works and coordinates with project management and other disciplines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in mechanical construction.
- Extensive experience in HVAC and building services.
- Experience managing subcontractors, site installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical construction processes and international project standards.
- Good command of English.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM applications.
- Large-scale international construction project experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of FIDIC procedures is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Manage HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems.
- Coordinate mechanical design, drawings, specifications, and BOQ preparation and review.
- Supervise subcontractors and monitor mechanical installation works on site.
- Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
- Ensure delivery against quality standards, schedules, specifications, and contractual requirements.
