A client of Universal Staffing Services seeks a Mechanical Technician (Static) with at least 5 years of experience to perform maintenance on static mechanical equipment such as valves, pipes, tanks, and filtration systems.

- Carry out overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostic activities on mechanical static equipment
- Supervise, guide and monitor work done by external vendors
- Prepare and submit technical log reports, checklist or forms
- Obtain spare parts, materials, and consumables from internal store or external location
- Utilize, maintain and safe keep specific tools assigned by company
- Respond to emergency situations during or after hours
- Utilize Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in mechanical static equipment maintenance
- Experience with valves, pipes, cooling tower static aspects, tanks, AHU ducting, filtration systems, and chemical dosing systems
- Ability to supervise and monitor external vendors

Job Overview
- Carry out overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostic activities related to MECHANICAL STATIC ASPECTS of process and non process equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, guide and monitor work done by external vendors.
- Prepare and submit technical log reports, checklist or forms as part of daily routine work.
- Obtain spare parts, materials, and consumables either from internal store or external location.
- Utilize, maintain and safe keep specific tools assigned by company.
- Maintain proper tools, PPEs, Spares and provide annual requirements.
- Respond to emergency situations during or after hours as part of business continuity.
- Utilize Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) as per QCFE.
- Where applicable, aid and support to other team members within and across the discipline.
- Participate in QC provided training as deemed fit by management.
- Perform any other related duty as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years working experience.
- Experience with valves, pipes, cooling tower static aspects, tanks, AHU ducting, filtration systems, and chemical dosing systems.
