About the Role
Client of Universal Staffing Services seeks a Mechanical Technician (Static) for Qatar District Cooling Company. The role involves overhaul, preventive, and corrective maintenance of static mechanical equipment such as pumps, cooling towers, tanks, and AHUs.

Responsibilities
- Carry out overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical static equipment
- Supervise, guide, and monitor work done by external vendors
- Prepare and submit technical log reports, checklists, and forms
- Obtain spare parts, materials, and consumables from internal store or external location
- Utilize, maintain, and safe keep specific tools assigned by company
- Maintain proper tools, PPEs, spares and provide annual requirements
- Respond to emergency situations during or after hours as part of business continuity
- Utilize Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) as per QCFE
- Aid and support other team members within and across the discipline when required
- Participate in QC provided training as deemed fit by management
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years working experience in mechanical static equipment maintenance
- Experience with pumps, cooling towers, tanks, AHUs, and filtration systems
- Knowledge of CMMS and technical reporting

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostic activities related to MECHANICAL STATIC ASPECTS of process and non process equipment and its sub systems.
- Static aspect of Pumps (Valves, pipe and pipe support, expansion bellows and fittings).
- Static aspects of Cooling Tower (Infills, nozzles, basin, fan stack, and GRP structure).
- Tank (Structures, valves and fittings, air vents).
- Air handling Units (Filter, ducting, AHU Housing).
- Filtration system (Filters, housings, pipe and fittings).
- Chemical Dosing Pumps, Tanks, Pipe and Fittings system.
- Corrosion racks, sampling, blowdown and chemical dosing pipe systems.
- Supervise, guide and monitor work done by external vendors.
- Prepare and submit technical log reports, checklist or forms as part of daily routine work.
- Obtain spare parts, materials, and consumables either from internal store or external location.
- Utilize, maintain and safe keep specific tools assigned by company.
