Responsibilities
- Carry out overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical rotating equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with pumps, cooling towers, air compressors, AHU fans, and cranes
- Supervise, guide, and monitor work done by external vendors
- Prepare and submit technical log reports, checklists, and forms
- Obtain spare parts, materials, and consumables from internal store or external location
- Respond to emergency situations during or after hours
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in mechanical rotating equipment maintenance
- Experience with pumps, cooling towers, air compressors, AHU fans, and overhead cranes
- Ability to supervise and guide external vendors
- Proficiency in using CMMS for maintenance management

Job Overview
- Principal: Qatar District Cooling Company
- Carry out overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot, and diagnostic activities related to MECHANICAL ROTATING ASPECTS of process and non process equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain pumps rotating aspects (Mechanical seals, impeller, bearing, shaft, coupling, and joints)
- Maintain cooling tower rotating aspects (Fan blades, shaft, gearbox, coupling, and joints)
- Maintain air compressors
- Maintain AHU fans and blowers
- Maintain overhead crane gearbox, pulley, trolley track, drum, wire rope, brake, and wheels
- Maintain mechanical forklifts and manlifts
- Maintain fan coil units and split casing units (Compressors, Outdoor unit, fan, and blowers)
- Supervise, guide, and monitor work done by external vendors
- Prepare and submit technical log reports, checklist or forms
- Obtain spare parts, materials, and consumables
- Utilize, maintain and safe keep specific tools
- Respond to emergency situations during or after hours
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years working experience
- Experience with rotating equipment maintenance
