Fuel your passion

As a Mechanical Technician , you will support the assembly, testing, and delivery of hydraulic control units and related equipment. Working from engineering drawings and work instructions, you will ensure products are built to the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

As a Mechanical Technician, you will:

Assemble hydraulic systems, control units, and mechanical components.

Build and test valves and associated products to required specifications.

Perform flushing, pressure testing, and inspection activities.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

Use hand tools, measuring equipment, and assembly tools safely and effectively.

Identify and report quality issues in accordance with company procedures.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and additional workshop activities as required.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, or a related engineering environment.

Have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

Have experience working with hydraulic systems, mechanical equipment, or industrial products.

Have experience using hand tools, measuring equipment, and standard workshop practices.

Have a strong commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Have good communication and problem-solving skills.

Have a willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a recognized qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, or a related technical discipline OR equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Have experience working in a manufacturing, workshop, production, maintenance, or assembly environment.
  • Have experience supporting testing, inspection, or commissioning activities (preferred).
  • Have knowledge of hydraulic systems and mechanical assembly processes (preferred).
