Mechanical Technician
Malleswaram, Bengaluru | On-site | Full-time
Our hardware lives at the intersection of precision robotics, wearable design, and clinical-grade sample collection. We need a Mechanical Technician who can build things that work, keep them running, and source what we need to move fast.
What You Will Do
- Assemble and integrate mechanical and electronic systems for new product development, including automated systems, sub-systems, and wearables for dogs.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and 3D printers; conduct routine testing and calibration to keep custom-built systems at peak performance.
- Build and test prototypes at low volume, support in-house moulding operations, and learn apparel stitching for custom harness and wearable fabrication.
- Source and procure components, manage vendor relationships, and maintain accurate inventory and BOM records across project timelines.
- Document assemblies, integration processes, troubleshooting steps, and all hardware compliance records.
What Success Looks Like (6 Months)
Hardware builds ship on time with zero rework cycles caused by assembly error.
The lab is well-stocked, vendors are reliable, and procurement happens without friction.
Systems stay up. When something breaks, you diagnose and fix it the same day.
You Are a Good Fit If
You hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience.
You have built or repaired robots, SPMs, or similar automated systems and can read 2D drawings, 3D CAD, electrical schematics, and harness drawings.
