Role overview
ACTEMIUM Design delivers engineering design projects across regulated industry sectors and the full project lifecycle.
The role supports nuclear and highly regulated projects as part of an engineering team.
The position focuses on pipeline stress analysis, seismic assessment, and engineering calculations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform detailed stress analysis and flexibility assessments using industry-standard software.
- Develop and verify engineering calculations for supports and mechanical equipment.
- Produce stress reports, calculation packages, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant design codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Participate in design reviews, hazard studies, and technical assurance activities.
- Support site investigations, troubleshooting, and engineering modifications as required.
Essential skills and experience
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong background in pipeline stress calculations or seismic analysis.
- Proficiency with Mathcad, CAESAR II, ANSYS, or similar analysis software.
- Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and seismic design requirements.
