The company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Stress Engineer for nuclear and highly regulated sector projects.
The role requires expertise in pipeline stress analysis, seismic assessment and engineering calculations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform detailed stress analysis and flexibility assessments using industry-standard software.
- Develop and verify engineering calculations for supports and mechanical equipment.
- Produce stress reports, calculation packages and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant design codes, standards and project specifications.
- Participate in design reviews, hazard studies and technical assurance activities.
- Support site investigations, troubleshooting and engineering modifications as required.
Essential skills and experience
- Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong background in pipeline stress calculations or seismic analysis.
