Role Overview
Coordinate integrated mechanical planning across Nuclear Island, Conventional Island, and Balance of Plant scopes.
Support piping, HVAC, and M&E installation, commissioning, and system handover in regulated nuclear environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop construction and commissioning schedules using Oracle Primavera P6.
- Coordinate mechanical installation sequencing with multidisciplinary teams.
- Plan installation, pressure testing, commissioning integration, and turnover activities.
- Monitor performance, schedule risks, critical paths, and mitigation opportunities.
- Produce KPI dashboards, variance analysis, and progress reporting.
- Interface with subcontractors, commissioning teams, and client stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with nuclear quality assurance and governance requirements.
- Integrate procurement, fabrication, and installation into project schedules.
- Support workface planning and short-term construction look-ahead programmes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent engineering or construction management qualification.
- Proven Planning Engineer experience on major installation projects.
- Strong understanding of industrial piping, HVAC, or M&E systems and construction methodologies.
