Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead mechanical maintenance activities across plant operations
- Execute preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance activities
- Handle manpower allocation, task assignment, and daily workforce supervision
- Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems
- Oversee maintenance of EOT cranes, pumps, compressors, and rotating equipment
- Create and manage Purchase Requisitions (PR) through SAP
- Prepare daily maintenance reports and ensure proper documentation
- Coordinate maintenance shutdowns and breakdown activities with production teams
- Support basic control and automation related maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies
- Monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance
- Experience in steel plant, motor manufacturing, transformer manufacturing, electrical equipment, or heavy engineering industry
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems
- Experience with EOT cranes, pumps, compressors, and rotating equipment
- Knowledge of SAP for creating and managing Purchase Requisitions
- Ability to supervise and lead a team
