Mechanical Lead / Rotating & Package Engineer - OnSite AbuDhabi

Overview

Requirements

• +15 years of experience in the industry Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, EPC projects or Offshore/onshore facilities.
• Strong experience with rotating equipment and packaged systems.
• Previous experience with ADNOC Projects.
• Rotating Equipment Knowledge: Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, Blowers, Fans, Gearboxes, Generators.
• Package Equipment Knowledge: Chemical injection packages, Instrument air packages, Water treatment units, HVAC/chiller systems, Flare packages, Skid-mounted systems.
• Standards: API 610, API 617, API 618, API 614, ASME, ISO, ANSI.
• Software: AutoCAD, PDMS/E3D, Navisworks, MS Office, Engineering management tools.

Principal Duties

• Lead engineering activities for rotating and packaged equipment.
• Prepare and review: Datasheets, Specifications, Inquiry/Requisition packages, Technical bid evaluations (TBE), Vendor documents.
• Ensure equipment complies with: API, ASME, ISO, Client/project specifications.
• Perform equipment sizing and selection.
• Ensure integration with piping, electrical, instrumentation, and process systems.
• Manage complete packaged equipment lifecycle: Design, Procurement Support, Vendor Document Review and coordination.
• Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for technical clarifications.
• Review package GA drawings, P&IDs, layouts, and calculations.
• Monitor package delivery schedules and documentation.
• Lead a team of engineers/designers.
• Allocate work and monitor project progress.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
• Participate in: HAZOP, Design reviews, Model reviews, Client meetings.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Procurement & Vendor Management.
• Safety & Quality.
