Role Overview
Next Engineering Consultants is seeking a Mechanical Inspector for its RAK Branch.
The role oversees the quality and compliance of on-site mechanical works, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
The position requires hands-on inspection experience and knowledge of UAE regulations and authority standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect site execution of mechanical works for compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor quality and report non-conformities through inspection logs and NCRs.
- Verify the delivery and installation of mechanical materials and equipment.
- Review method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and supervision teams for smooth site operations.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and regulations from DCD, DEWA, RAK Municipality, and other authorities.
- Maintain accurate and timely inspection records and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7–10 years of mechanical inspection experience in the UAE.
- Experience in a consultant company and with high-rise buildings.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and quality assurance procedures.
- Familiarity with RAK Municipality and UAE authority submission standards.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person at project sites.
