About the Role
United NDT Training & Inspection Centre (UNTIC) is seeking a Mechanical Inspector with at least 8 years of experience to inspect mechanical installations for large infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
- Inspect mechanical installation works to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and approved procedures
- Conduct inspections for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, and other mechanical systems as applicable
- Verify materials and equipment before installation
- Monitor construction activities and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
- Review contractor inspection requests and prepare inspection reports
- Identify non conformities and monitor corrective actions until closure
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders during inspections
- Maintain inspection records, documentation, and quality reports
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and project quality management systems
- Participate in site meetings and provide technical support when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical inspection
- Proven experience in airport, metro, utilities, or large infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, and inspection procedures
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and inspection documentation
