Responsibilities
- Inspect HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting installations for compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Review contractor method statements and material submittals for mechanical works.
- Witness testing and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Identify and record non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions with contractors.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, checklists, and photographic documentation.
- Coordinate with the Resident Engineer and design team on mechanical technical queries.
- Support verification of mechanical materials and equipment against approved specifications.
- Monitor contractor compliance with health and safety requirements during mechanical works.
Requirements
- Experience inspecting mechanical installations and verifying HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting works against approved drawings and specifications.
