Responsibilities
- Attend contractor Inspection Requests and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
- Inspect electrical components such as conduits, wiring, and outlets within precast elements.
- Apply knowledge of MEP techniques, procedures, and relevant international codes and standards.
- Review shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practice.
- Report non-compliant contractor work to stakeholders for appropriate action.
- Monitor work quality and site safety, including health and environmental requirements.
- Maintain daily site activity records and progress photographs.
- Prepare surveillance reports and non-conformance reports when required.
- Coordinate discipline-related works with other disciplines and provide technical input on site issues.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of career experience is required.
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
- Knowledge of MEP techniques, procedures, relevant international codes, and standards is required.
- Experience and capability in the mechanical engineering discipline are required.
