About the Role

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical installation activities on site, including HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, piping, and associated equipment works
- Allocate tasks and manage mechanical technicians, skilled workers, and laborers to ensure productivity
- Execute works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and instructions
- Monitor manpower utilization and ensure work progresses according to the approved schedule
- Inspect work areas and verify installations comply with quality standards
- Coordinate with other site disciplines and foremen to avoid clashes and ensure smooth workflow
- Report daily work progress, manpower deployment, material requirements, and site issues to the Mechanical Site Engineer
- Ensure availability and proper use of materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist in conducting inspections, testing, balancing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
- Ensure compliance with site safety regulations, HSE requirements, and company policies
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and promote a safe working environment
- Maintain records of daily activities, attendance, equipment utilization, and completed work
Requirements
- Mechanical Diploma from a recognized Technical/Industrial Institute or equivalent qualification
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical site execution, including HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, MEP, or related construction fields
- Previous experience in supervising site mechanical teams within construction projects is preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installation practices
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and installation details
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage

Summary of the Role
- The Mechanical Foreman is responsible for supervising and directing the daily execution of mechanical activities at the project site.
- Ensures mechanical installations are performed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and project schedules under the guidance of the Mechanical Site Engineer.

- Ensure compliance with site safety regulations, HSE requirements, and company policies by all team members.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Diploma from a recognized Technical/Industrial Institute or equivalent qualification.
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical site execution, including HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, MEP, or related construction fields.
- Previous experience in supervising site mechanical teams within construction projects is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installation practices.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and installation details.
- Good understanding of mechanical materials, fittings, tools, and equipment used in site execution.
- Familiarity with testing and commissioning support activities.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and site HSE procedures.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications for reporting purposes is preferred.
- Good communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good understanding of project workflows and site coordination requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
Working Conditions and Environment
- The position is site based.
- The position may have occasional international travel requirements.
