Mechanical Engineer

Provide mechanical engineering design and development of innovative products from concept through production

Design, build, and test proof-of-concept models, breadboards, prototypes, and production-ready designs

Apply expertise in motion systems, motion controls, robotics, and precision electromechanical design

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, systems, and manufacturing engineers

Utilize Creo and/or SolidWorks to develop detailed mechanical designs and documentation

Perform engineering analyses, develop product specifications, and create design documentation

Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and design for cost and reliability principles

Support proposal development, technical estimates, and customer engagements

Contribute to rapid prototyping and iterative product development efforts

Ensure compliance with Boston Engineering's Quality Management System and engineering best practices

3+ years of mechanical engineering experience focused on new product development

Demonstrated success bringing complex products from concept through manufacturing

Experience designing high-precision electromechanical systems
