Role Overview
Design mechanical systems that support advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities and tool-installation projects.
Work on HVAC, process utilities, piping, exhaust, cleanroom modifications, and facility infrastructure.
Workplace
- This is an onsite role requiring daily work in the N. Phoenix, Arizona area.
- Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available.
Core Responsibilities
- Produce engineering designs, project plans, specifications, drawings, and models.
- Design piping, plumbing, HVAC, exhaust, process chemical, wastewater, fire protection, and related mechanical systems.
- Perform load, pump head, pressure drop, and energy consumption calculations.
- Apply engineering techniques and comply with design and CAD standards.
- Coordinate with project teams and other design disciplines.
- Facilitate design reviews and support quality assurance and project milestones.
- Perform field verifications and troubleshoot design issues during construction.
- Manage technical inquiries, submittals, RFIs, version control, and contractor coordination.
