Key skills for this role
We're hiring Mechanical Engineers across all levels. Apply regardless of years of experience; we'll place you at the right level based on your background and how you perform through the interview process. You'll take mechanical assemblies from concept through design, prototyping, testing, and into a shipped product, working closely with flight systems, composites, manufacturing, and external vendors along the way. We're looking for engineers who've shipped real hardware before, ideally having seen a product through at least one full development lifecycle, and who are comfortable owning a problem from first sketch to flying part. We're hiring for two kinds of strength on this team, and you should be strong in at least one: detailed mechanism design, or composites and structures.
Our mission is to make a world where everyone has access to delivery. Where goods move as freely as information moves today.
This is possible. Today the cost of moving on a scooter is ₹2/km. That’s the cost of moving a 150kg mass from point A to B. We’re bringing that mass down to less than 5kgs, concurrently bringing the cost down to 10 paise/km. This is how we make deliveries a reality. This is how we create a world where we’re doing billions of deliveries per day.
The tech is not there. The current cost of drone delivery is ₹100/km. We need to completely redefine the way things are done here. We’re building the world’s most efficient aircraft from the ground-up, and scaling that up to beyond anything the aerospace sector has ever seen. This cannot be an iterative process. We have to tear down all conventions and build everything up from scratch.
To do this, we need nothing less than the best engineers. The ones who care about building something fundamentally different, who are deeply curious about understanding the fundamentals of everything they’re working on, who are dreamers that believe in the impossible.
Hardware Engineering owns the aircraft's physical development, from a concept sketch to a part that flies. This spans system design, mechanism design, and structural design: working out how something moves, what it's made of, and whether it holds up under real load. Because most of what we design is custom, it also means designing the equipment we use to prove our work — rigs, jigs, and testers built specifically to validate a design before it goes anywhere near a real flight. It's one team across concept, design, initial prototyping, and test: the full arc of getting a product from an idea to something that ships.

Design and develop mechanical systems and assemblies for our aircraft, from early concept through production intent
Build and test prototypes yourself - this is a hands-on role where you will own an end-to-end mechanical system from concept through testing through production
Run load calculations, tolerance stacks, basic FEA, and weight budgets to validate designs before they're cut or molded
Work with composites layup, injection molding, additive manufacturing, and CNC machining to choose the right process for each part
If focused on composites/structures: build and improve how we model and design composite structures (laminate design, layup optimization, and structural analysis) rather than just building to a fixed layup
If focused on mechanism design: select the right actuation hardware for the job (servos, stepper motors, and similar) and write short scripts to drive and test them
Partner with external vendors and fabrication shops to get parts made to spec, on time
Translate requirements from internal teams (flight systems, manufacturing, product) and external stakeholders into concrete mechanical designs
Chase down the details that make the difference between a part that works on the bench and one that survives a thousand flights
Experience with designing / building parts for UAV or aerospace applications
Hands-on project experience (BAJA, FSAE, or similar build teams) is a great substitute for professional experience, especially earlier in your career
Work location: Hoskote, Bangalore (Headquarters)
