About the Role
Ejadah is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 6-8 years of FitOut experience in UAE to review drawings, ensure compliance with DEWA/DCD/DIFC guidelines, and oversee MEP installations.

Responsibilities
- Review drawings submitted by contractors and provide feedback based on DEWA, DCD, and DIFC guidelines
- Ensure timely completion of FitOut projects by meeting project deadlines
- Arrange meetings with contractors to explain drawing review comments
- Monitor authority design approval process and inspection approval
- Conduct feasibility study for MEP provisions upgradation
- Coordinate with FM team for CHW isolation and air balancing activities
- Attend first fix and final inspections and provide feedback
- Verify authority approved drawings and review method statements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 6 8 years of experience in FitOut/construction projects in UAE
- Good understanding of all MEP installations
- Thorough knowledge of authority standards such as DCD, DM, DEWA
- Competent to review drawings inline with authority standards
- Well experienced in managing/overseeing FitOut activities
- Thorough knowledge about testing and commissioning of MEP systems

Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure timely completion of FitOut projects by meeting project deadlines.
- Arranging meetings with the contractors to explain the drawing review comments if required.
- Closely monitoring the authority design approval process and inspection approval for the project.
- Doing feasibility study for MEP provisions upgradation as per the tenant requirement based on the existing site conditions and available figures.
- Coordinating with FM team for CHW isolation and air balancing activities.
- Notifying and obtaining confirmation from all the affected tenants during a CHW isolation.
- Giving proper instructions to the site inspectors to coordinate with the contractors.
- Providing proper instructions and corrective measures during regular site visits.
- Attending first fix inspection and providing feedback with corrective measures to facilitate the false ceiling closure.
- Attending final inspection and ensuring proper functionality of each service before issuing final approval.
- Achieve high client satisfaction by delivering exceptional FitOut solutions.
- Conducting proper follow ups, monitoring and inspections for each project and maintained the quality of work.
Qualifications
- Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Mech Engineering
- Experience – 6 8 years in FitOut/construction projects in UAE
Skills and competencies
- Good understanding of all MEP installations comprising – HVAC systems, drainage & plumbing, Electrical
- Through knowledge of authority standards such as DCD, DM, DEWA
- Competent to review drawings inline with authority standards and give comments and approvals
- Well experienced in managing / overseeing the FitOut activities and ensure installations are done inline with approved MSRA
- Thorough knowledge about testing and commissioning of MEP systems
