Role overview

Responsibilities

• Produce technical project plans, specifications, drawings, and models for project and client requirements.
• Create and maintain Revit models covering piping, plumbing, exhaust, and associated mechanical components.
• Produce construction documents, mechanical plans, equipment schedules, and system diagrams.
• Participate in BIM coordination, clash detection, and resolution with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain model quality under BIM execution plans, company standards, and modeling best practices.
• Design piping, plumbing, HVAC ducting, chillers, boilers, exhaust, motor control, process chemical, and fire protection systems.
• Coordinate design packages with electrical, structural, process, chemical, and architectural disciplines.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field is required.
• Revit proficiency and experience with mechanical modeling, documentation, and BIM coordination are required.
• At least 12 years of experience with Navisworks or similar BIM coordination tools is required.
• AutoCAD proficiency is preferred.
• BIM or Revit certifications or coursework are a plus.
• PIPE-FLO or similar mechanical analysis tool experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English are required.
• The role requires flexibility for evening hours supporting communication with U.S. teams.

Work schedule

• Work timings are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon IST and 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight IST.
