Responsibilities
- Design and review electrical systems for MEP projects including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and earthing systems
- Handle installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems (transformers, MDBs, SMDBs, AHUs, chillers, control panels)
- Prepare electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing
- Develop and review shop drawings, layouts, and as built drawings
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and civil teams for integrated project delivery
- Supervise on site electrical installations and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC) and international standards
- Review material submittals, technical datasheets, and method statements
- Support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring
- Attend client meetings, technical discussions, and coordination meetings
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in MEP electrical engineering
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, ELV, earthing systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Familiarity with international standards (IEC, BS) and local regulations (DEWA/ADDC)
- Experience in Airport Equipment and MRO Hangar or infrastructure projects preferred
- UAE/GCC experience highly preferred

Position Overview
- We are seeking a skilled and detail oriented Electrical Engineer – MEP to handle the design, coordination, and execution of electrical systems in Airport Infrastructure Projects.
- The role involves working on Airport Equipment and MRO Hangar and infrastructure developments, ensuring all electrical works comply with project specifications, local regulations, and international standards.
- The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in MEP systems, site experience, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review electrical systems for MEP projects including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and earthing systems.
- Hands on experience in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems, including transformers (minimum 1000 kVA), MDBs, SMDBs, AHUs, chillers, and large control panels.
- Demonstrated capability in handling and terminating power cables of 70 sq.mm and above, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing.
- Develop and review shop drawings, layouts, and as built drawings.
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and civil teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Supervise on site electrical installations and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

- Ability to interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Electrical Schematics and Layout Drawings.
- Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, BS, and local authority regulations (DEWA/SEWA/ADDC).
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
