We are currently hiring a Drafter/Designer for our Mechanical Engineering Department in Meridian, Idaho.

This position will support the design and drafting of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and related engineered systems for a variety of commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare, and other facility projects.

The ideal candidate will have a background in drafting and design through technical education and/or practical experience.

Proficiency with AutoCAD is required, and experience with Revit and BIM-based design workflows is strongly preferred.

This position offers opportunities to grow from drafting support into increasingly complex design responsibilities under the guidance of experienced engineers and designers.

• Create and revise mechanical engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Support the design of HVAC, plumbing, and related building systems.
• Assist engineers and designers with project drafting, modeling, and documentation.
• Participate in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary project collaboration.
• Maintain accurate project drawings and design records.
• Grow technical knowledge and design skills through training and mentorship.
• Education or experience in engineering drafting and design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (required)
• Experience with Revit/BIM workflows (preferred)
• Interest in building mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and related engineered systems
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to project teams
