Mechanical Designer / Technician

Responsibilities

• Work independently to apply design principles for 3D models and 2D mechanical equipment, general arrangement drawings of facilities and processes.
• Work collaboratively to share the results of your work with senior members of the discipline and/or other Hatch groups
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical equipment.
• Become knowledgeable of various mechanical equipment, various design tools, piping system design, multi-discipline workflows, and industrial components/processes.
• Participate in office and site safety training and inductions as needed to support office and site activities
• Perform field verification, and provide field support during construction
• Willingness and ability to travel and work in other Hatch offices or project work sites (including remote sites) as needs and opportunities arise

Compensation

• Range: $62,000 - $65,000
• At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.
• Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location. In addition to base pay, our total rewards package may include performance-based incentives, comprehensive benefits, and other programs designed to support your well-being and growth.
