Design and develop mechanical systems for swimming pools, water features, fountains, and landscape irrigation systems.
The work covers design development, hydraulic analysis, equipment selection, documentation, coordination, and construction support.
Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual, preliminary, detailed, and construction-stage designs for swimming pools, water features, fountains, and related systems.
- Perform hydraulic calculations for pumps, pipework, flow rates, pressure losses, filtration, and water circulation systems.
- Select and size pumps, filters, valves, strainers, nozzles, jets, drains, skimmers, tanks, heat exchangers, and related equipment.
- Design irrigation networks, pumps, filtration, valves, controls, storage tanks, and distribution pipework.
- Prepare calculations, hydraulic profiles, equipment schedules, specifications, schematics, drawings, layouts, and construction documents.
- Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, structural, electrical, civil, landscape, and other MEP disciplines.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical submissions, contractor proposals, and manufacturers' technical data.
- Provide technical responses to RFIs and resolve design-related issues during construction.
- Review testing, commissioning, as-built documentation, operation, maintenance, and accessibility requirements.
- Optimize designs for energy efficiency, water conservation, reliability, maintainability, and lifecycle cost.
Design requirements
- Designs must comply with applicable codes, standards, health and safety requirements, authority requirements, and project specifications.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 10,000 to AED 12,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
