About the Role
Cure Talent is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer for a wearable medical technology company. The role involves designing mechanical components for wearable medical devices, creating CAD models, and supporting prototyping and testing.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for wearable medical devices from concept through to production
- Create detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Support prototyping, testing and iterative design activities across the product lifecycle
- Apply structured medical device development processes, including design control, risk management and verification & validation
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and external suppliers to ensure designs meet manufacturing and quality requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in mechanical design within MedTech or regulated product development environment
- Proficiency in CAD, preferably SolidWorks, with experience producing detailed engineering drawings
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to wearable devices (plastics, elastomers, precision assembly)
- Understanding of structured product development processes, including design control and risk management (e.g., FMEA)
