Role Overview
Develop next-generation counter-UAS hardware through conceptualization, design, prototyping, analysis, and production.
The role emphasizes mechanical design, thermal analysis, prototyping, and system integration for durable, high-performance products.
What You’ll Do
- Drive product development from concept through manufacturing while meeting durability and reliability standards.
- Lead ideation of subsystem- and system-level product architectural concepts.
- Construct and analyze high-fidelity proof-of-concept prototypes.
- Perform FEA, tolerance analysis, testing, and other mechanical analyses.
- Collaborate with domestic and international stakeholders and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Document design specifications, production processes, and compliance requirements.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design and system integration, preferably with advanced hardware systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360.
- Hands-on experience with drills, bandsaws, 3D printers, or similar prototyping equipment.
- Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and single-board computers.
