As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:
Creating Drill Bit Design and manufacturing packages utilizing 3-D modelling and data management systems
Interfacing with Product Line Management, Operations, Manufacturing, and Technology groups to improve product performance and process efficiency
Documenting and sharing lessons learned, with cross functional groups
Supporting Manufacturing with problem solving and issue resolution
Conducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, and applicable processes for HSE, Quality, Legal Compliance and Cultural pillars
Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college.
Have 2-5 years of experience in drill bits - preferable in design
Have experience with 3D CAD systems.
Possess awareness of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) principles
Be able to select engineering techniques and utilize analysis tools to solve problems and makes sound design recommendations.
