About the Dream Realization Lab
The Dream Realization Lab is the product development team within Dhahran Techno Valley Company.
The team develops prototypes across energy, industrial systems, consumer devices, and smart solutions.
Work spans concept validation and feasibility studies through detailed design, working prototypes, and prototype documentation.
The role
Design Engineer role covering concept exploration, feasibility, detailed design, prototyping, and testing.
The engineer collaborates with Electrical, Controls, and Industrial Design colleagues on integrated solutions.
Projects are varied, fast-moving, and often involve novel problems requiring independent problem solving.
Design and modelling
- Design 3D parts and assemblies in SolidWorks using parametric modelling.
- Apply DFM, DFA, and DFR principles for manufacturability, assembly, and serviceability.
- Perform tolerance analysis and create GD&T-annotated drawings.
- Translate multidisciplinary inputs into mechanical solutions.
