Role Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop mechanical design and engineering deliverables for data center projects under the guidance of the Lead – Mechanical Design.
- Develop HVAC layouts, chilled water piping layouts, equipment schedules, schematics, and ventilation designs.
- Support heat-load calculations, equipment sizing, hydraulic calculations, and selection of mechanical systems.
- Assist in designing chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, and associated piping systems.
- Coordinate with electrical, civil, structural, fire and life safety, and execution teams on design interfaces.
- Review vendor and consultant drawings and technical submittals for compliance with project requirements.
- Provide technical support to site teams for design clarifications and execution-related issues.
- Ensure assigned design deliverables are accurate, coordinated, and completed within project timelines.
- Maintain design documentation, revisions, and technical records according to project requirements.
Experience
