Mechanical Design Engineer

The opportunity

Infravision is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Product Development to design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems for our stringing and network technology products.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering and partnering closely with Operations and Manufacturing teams, this role will contribute across the full product development lifecycle, from concept generation and design validation through prototype testing and manufacturing support.

This is an opportunity for a technically strong and creative engineer who enjoys solving practical problems, translating concepts into robust mechanical designs, and helping bring innovative technology from development into reliable field use.

What you’ll do

• Product Concept & Design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop mechanical product solutions that meet customer needs and market requirements.
• CAD Development. Use CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD to design mechanical components, assemblies, and systems in alignment with design specifications, applicable standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Feasibility & Design Risk. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate design concepts and recommend practical, commercially viable solutions.
• Prototyping & Testing. Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept models, plan and execute mechanical testing, and evaluate product performance, durability, reliability, and functionality under relevant operating conditions.
