Essential Job Responsibilities
- Create pump cross-sectional drawings, general arrangement drawings, and bills of material using SolidWorks and an ERP system.
- Prepare and review manufacturing drawings involving geometric and stack-up tolerances.
- Provide technical support during machining, pump assembly, and performance testing.
- Review new pump, parts manufacturing, and pump repair plans.
- Prepare and review commercial grade dedication plans for products, processes, and vendors.
- Prepare and review casting, weld wire, and ASME or code material procurement documents.
- Prepare and review welding, heat treatment, and thermal coating procedures.
- Prepare and review technical equivalency documents.
- Review, disposition, and accept internal and external vendor nonconformance reports and corrective actions.
- Perform and review pump mechanical and hydraulic calculations.
- Prepare and review stress and seismic calculations, code reconciliation, and design reports for ASME Code components.
- Prepare and review pump assembly, installation, maintenance, and storage documentation.
