Role Overview
Trident Infosol is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for ruggedized electronics packaging.
The role leads mechanical design for high-reliability products used in military, aerospace, and industrial environments.
The work focuses on enclosures and thermal management systems that protect against vibration, shock, dust, water, and extreme temperatures.
Location
- Job location: Bengaluru.
Experience and Education
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
- The role requires at least five years of mechanical design experience, including two to three years in ruggedized electronics packaging.
Design and Engineering Responsibilities
- Lead ruggedized enclosure and packaging design for electronics, PCBs, connectors, and interface components.
- Define mechanical and thermal architecture for environmental protection, including IP/NEMA ratings and applicable military and aerospace standards.
- Conduct structural and thermal analysis using FEA and CFD tools such as Floefd Simulation.
