Responsibilities
- Review purchase requests for MEP works and ensure completeness of technical documents before sending to suppliers
- Analyze technical offers from suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements
- Prepare technical and commercial comparisons highlighting substantive differences between offers
- Review technical catalogs, certificates of conformity, country of origin, warranties, and factory approvals
- Coordinate with consultant, technical office, project management, and contracts department as needed
- Follow up on critical and long lead items and escalate early to avoid impact on project schedule
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 to 8 years of experience in MEP works
- Practical experience in the Saudi market
- Professional registration with Saudi Council of Engineers
- High ability to review technical offers and material approvals
- Good knowledge of suppliers and agents within the Kingdom
- Proficiency in Arabic and English
- Preferred: courses in NFPA, ASHRAE, Saudi Building Code, or Low Current systems
