About the Role

  • UniHawk is hiring experienced Math Tutors to join our team in Dubai on a full time, in person basis. The successful candidates will deliver high quality mathematics tutoring across a range of major international curricula and examination boards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised, one on one and small group maths tutoring aligned to students' specific curricula and exam boards.
  • Support students preparing for IBDP, AS/A Level (Cambridge & Edexcel), AP Calculus AB/BC, and other major international qualifications.
  • Design and implement structured lesson plans and revision programmes tailored to individual student needs.
  • Administer timed mock exams and past papers, providing detailed feedback and targeted follow up.
  • Track and report on student progress, identifying gaps and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare high quality teaching materials, worked examples, and question sets aligned to each board's syllabus.
  • Communicate proactively with students and parents/guardians regarding progress, targets, and upcoming assessments.
  • Stay current with syllabus updates, mark schemes, and examiner reports across all supported boards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or a closely related field (master's preferred).
  • Proven, hands on experience tutoring or teaching Mathematics for the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP).
  • Proven, hands on experience with AS/A Level Mathematics — both Cambridge International and Edexcel.
  • Solid experience preparing students for AP Calculus AB and/or BC.
  • Familiarity with other major international boards and curricula (e.g. AQA, OCR, American Common Core).
  • Demonstrable track record of measurable student improvement and exam success.
  • Prior professional tutoring, coaching, or classroom teaching experience required.

Desired Skills & Attributes

  • Experience across Further Mathematics, Statistics, or additional A Level / IB Higher Level topics is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to teach across multiple year groups and ability levels simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust with students and parents.
  • Highly organised, self motivated, and able to manage a varied caseload.
  • Confident user of digital tools including online whiteboards and document sharing platforms.
  • Patient, encouraging teaching style with a strong focus on building student confidence.

Role Details

  • Location: Dubai, UAE (in person only)
  • Contract: Full time
  • Start Date: ASAP

Salary

  • Pay: AED 6,000.00 AED 8,000.00 per month
